Teamwork

Together, we achieve more. We believe in short lines, down-to-earth collaboration, and challenging each other to improve. Everyone contributes to the result, from technician to engineer.

Are you an experienced Hardware Engineer with a passion for electrical engineering and automation? Do you want to work on high‑end, custom‑made solutions for international projects ranging from superyachts to football stadiums? Then this role at Van Gooi in Hilversum might be the perfect next step for you.

What will you do?

As a Hardware Engineer at Van Gooi, you are responsible for designing and developing electrical schematics that form the foundation of our control systems. You work on multiple unique projects simultaneously, ensuring no two workdays are ever the same.

One day you might be designing HVAC electrical schematics for a new superyacht; the next, you could be contributing to another complex international project. Using EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel, you create accurate and efficient designs. You collaborate closely with software engineers to achieve the best possible automation solutions.

Your daily focus includes:

Reviewing and processing technical information from new projects in Typical Manager

Designing electrical schematics using EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel

Collaborating with software engineers to deliver integrated automation solutions

Communicating with production departments about changes and project progress

Ensuring timely and accurate production drawings for the manufacturing team

What do you bring?

You are a driven professional with a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine passion for technology. You have an eye for detail, remain calm under pressure, and take initiative to improve results. You are cooperative by nature, but not afraid to speak up when needed.

In addition, you bring:

MBO level of education and thinking, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role

Demonstrable knowledge of electrical engineering; experience with EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel is a plus

The ability to switch quickly between multiple projects and tasks

Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different stakeholders

A proactive and solution‑oriented mindset

What you can count on

We offer you a challenging and independent role within Van Gooi – a proud company with an international presence. Our culture is down‑to‑earth, open, friendly, and strongly focused on collaboration.

In addition, we offer:

An excellent gross monthly salary between €3,146 and €5,825 based on a 40‑hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience

38 vacation days

Flexible working hours and the option to work from home

Unlimited opportunities to learn and develop, documented in a personal development plan tailored to your ambitions

A contribution towards a sports membership. No need to become a bodybuilder, but a healthy body is a happy body

Experienced colleagues from whom you can learn and enjoy Friday afternoon drinks or social activities such as our annual BBQ

An active employee association that organizes fun activities every quarter
